The Illiad and the Odyssey

Students will use a variety of texts including The Illiad, The Odyssey, graphic novel versions, and Troy to examine the epic poems by Homer.  Unit will include both literature and writing assignments, with an emphasis on themes from the literary works and examining elements of epic poetry.
